of Astronomy was founded in 1970 and is the only journal devoted to
the history of astronomy from earliest times to the present, and to
history in the service of astronomy. The Archaeoastronomy
supplement to the Journal for the History of Astronomy is published once
a year. Archaeoastronomy: the Journal of
Astronomy in Culture is published by the
University of Texas Press on behalf of the Center for Archaeoastronomy
and the International Society for Astronomy in Culture (ISAAC) The
Journal of Astronomical History and Heritage
is published twice-yearly, in June and December, and features review
papers, research papers, short communications, book reviews and Ruth
Freitag's history of astronomy bibliographies. Papers on all aspects of
astronomical history are considered, including studies which place the
