Faracovi’s book deals with the history of attempts to cast Christ’s horoscope within medieval and Renaissance European astrology, particularly in relation to Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions, including discussion of the theories of Albertus Magnus, Pierre d’Ailly, Marsilio Ficino, Pico della Mirandola and Girolamo Cardano. It is to be hoped that Faracovi’s Italian text will find an English language publisher.
